Natasha Principle Dance Instructor

My name is Natasha and I am the director and Principal Teacher here at Rhythm Nation Dance and Fitness.

I started dancing when I was 10 years old after watching a performance from the local dance school in my hometown area. I always loved to dance, but fell in love from the moment I started going to classes.

I trained at the Scottish School of Contemporary Dance, (Dundee) from 2007-2011 and graduated with a B.A Hons Degree Dance Competition Award.

My experiences include working with vulnerable/ disengaged young people in the area of Angus, Dundee and Rossie a multi-disciplinary organisation, using dance as a vehicle to gain more personal development skills. During this time I gained my SCQF Level 8 Professional Development Award in Conduct the Assessment Process, (August 2018.) This means I am a qualified SQA accessor.

I have been teaching here in Stonehaven for almost 10 years now. Throughout that time I have huge experience working with the local schools and have enjoyed building a relationship with the community here.

Recent Community Awards:

High Street Hero Award 2020 – Highly Commended
Aberdeenshire Voluntary Action 2020 – Community Spirit Award

Outside of work I love playing at the beach with my own little girl, and generally all things outdoors. Interesting fact – I once did a shark dive and a sky dive to raise money for charity, (on separate occasion of course.)

Nicole Staff Dance Instructor

My name is Nicole and I am a dance teacher at rhythm nation dance and fitness. Dance and fitness has always been a huge part of my life since I was a little girl, it has taught me so much and I will never loose the love for it.

In my spare time, when I’m not dancing, I love the outdoors, adventuring, hiking and wild swimming. The things you can find and the views you can see can be incredible….

I cant wait to dance with you all and have loads of fun.

Millie Devlin Dance Instructor

Hi I’m Millie, and I’m one of the Choreographers at Rhythm Nation Dance and Fitness.

I’ve been dancing for over 10 years now and have had many opportunities throughout.

I started volunteering back in 2011 with younger classes within the dance company, of which guided me into my teaching career.

I also was part of one of the competitive teams under Natasha, where we competed in many places including Disneyland Paris.
I love to travel the world which lead me to obtaining a BA Hons university degree in Tourism!

With this degree I had the opportunity to work and study in Disney World, Orlando, Florida, which opened me to experience different cultures through making friends from all over the world, gaining confidence and getting to enjoy being the big kid that I am

Being part of the Rhythm Nation family is something I truly love, and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us all.

Marie Stenhouse Dance Instructor

Hey I’m Marie and I’m a choreographer at rhythm nation dance and fitness.

I’ve been dancing for 10+ years. I started off volunteering and have completed 1000+ hours and received an ambassadors award.

I’m very adventurous and absolutely LOVE being outdoors. I’ve jumped from planes, swam in the sea for fun (cold water therapy, you should try it) and travelled the east coast of Australia.

I’ve completed an apprenticeship and I’m a qualified electronic technician. Due to covid-19 I’m back at college studying electrical engineering.

Dancing has been a massive part of my life for years and helped me through tough times.

I hope I can be a part of helping you too!!

Hi my names Max! I’ve been with Rhythm Nation Dance and Fitness since we started but have been dancing for years before that.

In my spare time I enjoy anything creative, I love art, music and special effects makeup!

I started volunteering in the Stonehaven classes a few years ago and joined the competitive team Eliminate in 2019.

I love competing and have qualified in solo, duo and teams for the UDO World Championships, as well as being part of the 2nd place quad at the previous Worlds which is one of my proudest dance moments!

Outside of dance, I love to hang out with my friends and go shopping. One of my all time favourite things to do is travel. I love being part of the dance family at Rhythm Nation and I’m excited to dance with you all!

Amelie Palmer

Hi my name is Lucy and I am a dance teacher at Rhythm Nation Dance and Fitness.

I have been dancing competitively for 6 years with Natasha and have been

volunteering as a class helper for a few years.

My favourite style of dance is Litefeet. I met Mr Youtube and Anna Reed in Feb 2019 for the first time at Rhythm Nation and was so inspired by the style, the culture and of course the pioneer himself.

Since falling in love with Litefeet I have performed on the stage with the King himself Mr Youtube at the Under 18s event Dancer’s Delight in London, and look forward to my next performance with him on the MAIN STAGE at MOVE IT in London this March (2022)

I have qualified for UDO worlds by placing in solo, duo and quad.

Between studying at school, teaching regular classes and weekly privates with all aged dancers at Rhythm Nation I love to be at the studio on my free time to train my freestyling. I live and breath dance and have my eye on some big goals for the future….

Catch me in New York one day!

I am so excited to bring the vibes to you all and share my love of Litefeet with the UK.

Hi my name is Molly, and I assist/cover our young team sessions and Gourdon Classes.

I have been dancing with Natasha since I was a little girl, and then competitively from the age of 10 years old. (maybe even younger.)

I have achieved over 500 hours of volunteering with Natasha, where I helped out in the younger kids dance classes making sure all the kids are feeling included, safe and happy. I love to encourage any little dancers who are maybe a little shy to come out their shell and share the love of dance that I have. I’m extremely caring and patient and a huge team player not just to our younger kids, but my own team to Eliminate.

I have done really well at coming 1st place in most competitions lately for my solos and duos with Lucy, and have also a great quad team too!

I am currently in 6th year at school, and have a weekend job on top of what I do at Rhythm Nation. In my spare time I like to see my friends and family and keep up with my mum at the Gym.
I love to travel too.

So excited to meet you all and see your smiling faces. 🙂

Hi my name is Erin and I assist/cover our younger team sessions and recreational classes in Stonehaven. I also teach our beginners UDO syllabus class on a Friday and I am Natasha’s sister. Literally her right hand girl!

I have watched my sister almost my whole life teaching dance for a living and have gained so many experiences in dance with her.

I dance in our second oldest competition team and have placed 1st at every competition we have attended this year. I have placed for my solo’s and duos this year, and I am also apart of great quad with Molly, Lucy and best friend Ashley.

For the first time ever I competed in a House battle at Soar Events and placed 2nd!! I was terrified before this event but still managed to go out there and dance from the heart.

I love to work with the younger kids. I have a 3 year old niece and seem to attract a large group of kids when we go to soft play together. 🙂 Its great fun!

Lately I have been giving the amazing opportunity to dance with Litefeet Pioneer – My Youtube. We will be dancing on the biggest stage we have ever danced on at Move It, London!

I cant wait to meet you all, and welcome you all to classes! A place that is a safe place for me and somewhere where I thrive. Cant wait to do the same for another child. 🙂
